The Art of Writing made its appearance at S.T. Dupont in 1973, at the request of Jackie Kennedy, who wanted a pen matching her S.T. Dupont lighter. True to its spirit,
the Maison invented the first luxury ballpoint pen for her.The pen body is a replica of the driver on the Ligne 1 lighter. Designed by Jean Malamoud, the pen was exhibited at MoMA, the famous museum of modern and contemporary art in New York.


Guilloché is a silversmithing effect that consists of tracing corrugated and parallel lines or that weave symetrically on a object with a specific tool (mostly, it is a diamond shaped tool). This exceptional piece comes from the archives of our House. It is in perfect working order. However, despite all our precautions, it may present some imperfections of aspect.
